After creating a digital course we had a 75k launch of the Unicorn Digital Marketing Assistant School this spring. An amazing number when you realize I had zero on my email list, social media, and website traffic just 3.5 years ago.
It’s been a wild ride of ups and downs, numerous lessons learned, and proud moments.
In today’s episode, I’d like to walk you through my digital course journey and share 4 tips for creating a digital course.
We’ll talk about: audience building, pricing, course creation, and one mental mindset that really held me back.
You can use this first-hand insight for your own freelance business or with your client work.
There are plenty of business owners out there creating their digital courses. They are knowledgeable, but they need someone who knows how to put everything together, and that’s when you walk in. You help them out while creating their digital course, you could even help them with their marketing, and you’ll become indispensable to them.
On the other hand, if you have been a freelancer for a while, you probably know what people need help with. Maybe you could create your digital course and teach others how you do the work.
And most importantly: what I’d do differently if I were starting over with this whole course thing.
It’s a very transparent and real conversation and I’m glad you’re here for it.
Then stay tuned for the very next episode … Amy Porterfield will be sharing her freelancer start-up story and her best tips for adding a digital course to your freelancer revenue stream.
